Our Story
DX Detailing was founded in 2022 by Rick Suthers as a mobile valeting service, covering Saddleworth and the surrounding areas. The name “DX” comes from Dexter, Rick’s loyal French Bulldog and head of the security squad — proudly assisted by Clyde.
What began as a one-man mobile setup quickly gained momentum. By 2023, we opened our first unit in Mossley, expanding our services to include paint correction, colour enhancement, and ceramic coatings.
In 2024, growing demand led us to launch a state-of-the-art detailing unit in Derker. From day one, we’ve built a strong reputation for high-quality detailing and specialist work — including safe and effective concrete removal for builders, contractors, and fleet operators across
Greater Manchester.
